From a soothing comfort groom for an older dog to a gentle puppy introduction, or a customized specialty groom for a rare breed, we’re here to meet all your canine companion’s needs.
We offer a full range of services, to keep your dog looking and feeling fabulous, and are happy to answer any questions you may have before you book in with us.

As two lifelong friends, who have bonded over partying – then young children – and now with a shared passion for dogs, we’ve poured our hearts into a profession we adore: helping dogs look and feel their best. With a combined 15 years of experience in the pet industry, our backgrounds in Animal Care, Veterinary Nursing, Dog Walking and Dog Grooming ensure your dog is in qualified hands.
Your dog’s safety and well-being are our top priorities. We are both Disclosure Scotland Certified and Canine First Aid Trained to provide the most gentle and safe grooming experience possible.

Short Bark & Sides is not only the perfect place for your pup, but it’s also in a lovely wee spot for you to enjoy while they’re getting pampered!
We’re just a 30-second drive from The Tin Can Cafe and a minute or so from the Westlands Hotel – ideal for grabbing a coffee, a bite to eat, or just relaxing while we work our magic. There’s also a peaceful loop walk around the salon, great for stretching your legs or taking another dog for a stroll.

We have a 5years old rough collie,Rocco. He is beautiful but really difficult to keep him tidy. The girls did an amazing job with him! I think I haven't seen Rocco's skin since he was born from all his hair...doubled coat... 😅.. until now! 😃😃 I can't believe how good he is now! Looks soo natural and clean! Also,he would never let anyone to dry him after wash.. And the girls (by some miracle) managed!! Thank you alot Katie and Iona! Highly recommended!!!
Amazing service, the girls are lovely and were so patient with my pup. It was her first groom so I was very nervous but was immediately put at ease, plus the groom was perfect. Can't wait to come again!!
